Yvonne Belhomme Champagne

Champagne Rosé - Extra Brut - Grand Cru

Introduced in 2025, the Rosé Grand Cru Extra Brut is the second expression of the house and a natural extension of its commitment to precision and authenticity.

Chardonnay-led and mineral-driven, it reveals a refined and contemporary interpretation of Ambonnay: elegant, precise, and shaped by the same exceptional Grand Cru terroir as the Brut.

The Estate & Terroir

Every grape in this bottle comes from the Yvonne Belhomme estate in Ambonnay, one of only 17 villages in Champagne to hold the Grand Cru designation since 1911.

The estate's defining characteristic is the interplay between its clay-rich topsoils and chalk base. The clay drives density, phenolic development, and mid-palate weight, Yvonne Belhomme's structural signature. The chalk preserves acidity and keeps the wines from becoming heavy, maintaining the tension that gives them precision and length.

As an independent Récoltant-Manipulant, every stage of production, from vine to label, takes place within the estate. Nothing is outsourced. Nothing is blended in from elsewhere.

The vineyards are tended exclusively with natural products. No chemicals. No shortcuts. The soil is managed with a long-term vision: to keep it alive, biodiverse, and capable of producing the finest Champagne not just today, but for generations to come. What we take from the land, we give back.

This commitment is recognised by the HQE certification (Haute Qualité Environnementale), one of France's most rigorous environmental standards. A formal acknowledgement of what has always been the house's quiet conviction: that great Champagne begins with great stewardship of the land.

Introduced in 2025, the Rosé is the second expression born from this same estate. Where the Brut draws on the power and structure of Pinot Noir, the Rosé lets Ambonnay's Chardonnay speak. Lighter, more tensile, and shaped by the same exceptional chalk that defines everything this house produces.
