For Bastille Day, we brought Grand Cru Champagne to the pétanque court. We are the proud sponsor of the tournament that brought Amsterdam's French community together for an afternoon of friendly rivalry.

Twelve teams of three gathered at Mooie Boules Amsterdam, trading precision throws for bragging rights under the summer sun. A celebration that felt très French.

For one afternoon, the boules court became an extension of home, where national pride met local community, where every throw was contested in good spirit, and where Champagne was poured as the day's true prize.

The day included: A Yvonne Belhomme Champagne tasting alongside a selection of wines. Burgers, French fries, and saucisson for the competitors between rounds. Rillette and patisseries for something more refined. Twelve teams, three players each, and one team crowned champions of the Pétanque Cup.
